 Savient supports educational initiatives that are accurate, non-biased and meet the highest standards of educational integrity. The types of programs we fund are those aligned with our core clinical area of interest: the recognition and treatment of gout.
These programs may include:
- The treatment of all stages of gout with particular emphasis on the approach to therapy in patients who are non-compliant, intolerant or unresponsive to therapy
- Information on the burden of chronic gout and the unmet needs of practitioners who treat and patients who suffer from this disease
- Recognition of Refractory Chronic Gout in patients who have been underserved or who have been reluctant to seek out treatment
